What is SEO Marketing Anyways?

There are some deep philosophical questions to be answered. Why are we here? What is the meaning of life? If you cross chocolate with ducks would it be a duckolate? The biggest question that should be answered is what is SEO marketing? This question has baffled mankind since the invention of the internet. I am prepared to enter the hallowed halls of the great philosophers like Plato and Socrates when I answer the question, What is SEO marketing?.

SEO marketing is the business of getting a website to increase its visibility through search engines. One way to do this is through the keywords associated with your website. If you choose relevant keywords, your website will show up in a higher rank or closer to page one in a search engine. Your keyword should also be more specific and less general. For example if you were to choose the keyword apple farm, your website is going to be swarmed with tens of thousands of other apple farms. However, if you used the keyword organic apple farm in Minnesota, you are going to have an easier time reaching your target audience.

SEO marketing is also about the links that are made to your website. Links to your website come from other sites that see yours as a trusted source of information. Links can also help boast your ranking in search engines. So, what is SEO marketing? This kind of marketing is in a nutshell, a way to increase your visibility through relevant keywords and links made to your website. Well that is one deep soul-searching question down. Now, it’s time for someone else to answer the next one.
